Big Name Websites Ditch the Slideshow after Threat of Google Penalties

Thankfully we may have seen the last of that annoying, clumsy slideshow method of displaying posts and articles.

Big websites are already starting to ditch the God awful slideshow/multi page article layout after Google's latest update "FRED" is shown to penalise them...

These annoying websites split posts into pieces so the visitor has to continually click next thus keeping you are their site longer and having you click on a bunch on internal links.

When this first started a few years back websites owners claimed that they were "splitting content into bytesize pieces because it's easier for the reader to digest" which any marketer knows is utter bull and it's simply to falsify Google data and make the websites seem more interesting than it is.

A few big names, one of them being Muscle and Fitness who adopted this method, probably after the advice of some so call marketing expert have started to display new posst in the old fashioned single page, linear way much to the delight of it's readers.

The "FRED" algorythm update has been welcomed and has made a positive impact on website usability
